The events of the György Ferenczy Foundation are always in connection with CHOPIN's name.

Our professional level events have to be connected to Chopin's name with advanced quality and quantity requirements.
In our starting level events it is not an obligatory to present a Chopin work, for the youngest competitors it is not even suggested. These events' special avard is the György Ferenczy Art Award which is given for the best performance of a Chopin composition only.

In other organizations' PROFESSIONAL competitions the György Ferenczy Art Awards are given for the best performance of a Chopin composition only.
In other organizations' STARTING LEVEL competitions the György Ferenczy Art Awards are given for the best performance of a Chopin or other romantic composer work.
